Heute stellen wir Ihnen wieder ein neues Kundenprojekt vor. Michelle hat sich eine Waschtischplatte in Eiche Vollholz, mit einseitiger Baumkante und mäßigen Ästen, in den Maßen 73x30x3 cm bestellt. Das Eichenholz stammt aus deutschen Wäldern und wurde technisch kammergetrocknet, sodass eine Restfeuchte von nur 8-12% verbleibt. Die Waschtischplatte wurde aus einem Holzstamm geschnitten. Nachdem die Platte auf das Wunschmaß der Kundin zugeschnitten wurde, durchlief sie mehrfach unsere Breitband-Schleifmaschine mit Hobelaggregat. Im nächsten Schritt wurden die Astlöcher mit Thermelt Astfüller schwarz verfüllt. Im Anschluss erhielt die Platte ihren Feinschlief per Hand und wurde zum Abschluss naturfarbend geölt. Durch die robuste Eigenschaft des Eichenholzes ist es sehr witterungsbeständig und resistent gegen äußere Einflüsse. Somit ist es auch für den Außenbereich verwendbar. Geölte Werkstücke werden bei uns einmalig mit Öl behandelt. Je nach Größe werden dafür Öle der Hersteller Woca oder Rubio ( gegebenfalls auch mit Härter-Komponente) eingesetzt. Ein mehrmaliges Nachölen der Oberflächen wird dringend empfohlen, damit das Holz gut versiegt ist.
