In dieser Woche stellen wir Ihnen wieder ein neues Kundenprojekt vor. Michelle hat sich eine Waschtischplatte aus Eiche Vollholz mit einseitiger Baumkante, in den Maßen 70x45x4,5 cm bestellt. Das Eichenholz stammt aus deutschen Wäldern und wurde technisch getrocknet, sodass eine Restfeuchte von 8-12% verbleibt. Die Platte wurde aus einem Baumstück gesägt. Nachdem die Vollholzplatte auf das Wunschmaß der Kundin zugeschnitten wurde, durchlief sie mehrfach unsere Breitband-Schleifmaschine mit Hobelaggregat. Im nächsten Schritt wurde die Platte per Hand mit feinem Schleifpapier nachgeschliffen und bekam im Anschluss eine einmalige naturfarbene Ölung. Vielen Dank für die zur Verfügung gestellten Bilder.
Eichenholz hat die Eigenschaft, dass es sehr robust ist und dadurch sehr resistent gegen äußere Einflüsse und witterungsbeständig. Es ist sowohl für den Außenbereich als auch für Feuchträume bestens geeignet.
