Heute stellen wir Ihnen ein neues Kundenprojekt vor. Michelle hat sich 2 Regalbretter aus Eiche Vollholz, in den Maßen 66x30x3 cm, mit einseitiger Baumkante vorne, die als Fase geschliffen wurde, bestellt. Die Eichenbretter sind aus einem Stück gesägt. Sie wurden kammergetrocknet und haben eine Restfeuchte von 8-12 %. Unser verarbeitetes Holz stammt ausschließlich aus deutschen Wäldern. Die Regalbretter wurden in unserer eigenen Werkstatt auf das Wunschmaß der Kundin zugeschnitten. Im Anschluss durchliefen die Bretter unsere Breitband-Schleifmaschine mit Hobelaggregat. Im nächsten Schritt erhielten die Bretter ihren Feinschliff per Hand und zum Abschluss wurde jeweils an der Vorderseite der Bretter eine Fase geschliffen. Eine naturfarbene Ölung rundete das Projekt ab, sodass die Maserung des Holzes optimal zur Wirkung kommt. Unsere Werkstücke werden bei uns einmalig mit Öl behandelt. Je nach Größe werden dafür Öle der Hersteller Woca oder Rubio (gegebenenfalls mit Härter-Komponente) eingesetzt. Ein mehrmaliges Nachölen der Oberflächen wird dringend empfohlen, damit das Holz gut versiegelt ist. Eine normale Fleckenbildung durch im Wasser vorhandene Salze kann sonst nicht ausgeschlossen werden.
